What We Do

"When Jay Nuhring re-thinks your rooms, it's not a do-over. He's not starting from scratch. He's looking at what you have, and finding a way to make it work better. He's putting your pieces together in a totally new way. A way that calms. Or invites. Or defines. Or surprises. After all, you have a story, and what you have in your home tells bits and pieces of that story. So let's put the story together in a way that reflects you best. What you're about. Where you've been. The things you love".

1920's Uptown Farmhouse Goes Modern

3100 Block and Bryant - Minneapolis.  Staging + Photo Styling
Painted all walls.  Rearranged all furniture and rehung artwork throughout.  Added accessories and some furnishings to fill in the blanks.  Simple.  Clean.  Modern.  House sold immediately.  Photography by +Mike McCaw - SpaceCrafting.com.

Living Room - View 2.  Especially like the asymmetry of the artwork above the sofa.  The window (left of art) seems to balance the composition.  Again, simple, clean, minimal.

Dining Room.  Added sisal rug and simple IKEA furnishings.  A white storage unit doubles as a place for stemware and a bar.  Round mirror repeats the silver cocktail tray, the Saarinen-style dining table and the globe light fixture.

Additional Living/Den Space off of Living Room.  Borrowed black leather lounge chairs and over-sized mirror from second floor bedroom.  Rearranged sofa to window wall, added accessories, lighting and artwork to round out the collection.  The photograph is engaging, inviting, balanced and enjoyable to look at.
